The hardware is ours
Servers, storage arrays and network equipment are D&D property. We do not resell someone else’s capacity under our own name.
Nobody else administers the hypervisors
No external provider holds administrative access to our hypervisors or to the infrastructure that carries your machines.
No hyperscaler in the chain
Hosting our clients’ data relies on neither AWS, nor Azure, nor Google Cloud. The infrastructure is our own.
Backups, not just redundancy
Virtual machines are backed up daily on the Swiss infrastructure. Replication to a second Swiss site can be added — it does not replace the backup.
Small enough that you can talk to someone
You are not filing a ticket into the void. The team that answers is the team that operates the infrastructure.

Application hostingA Swiss data centre, a named operator
D&D’s infrastructure is housed in the Crissier data centre, in the canton of Vaud, operated by BrainServe SA.
The distinction matters: BrainServe provides the building, the electrical supply, the cooling and the physical security. D&D owns and operates the IT hardware inside it, and administers the systems that carry your data.
The characteristics of the building — redundant power, generators, redundant cooling, biometric access control, fire detection, security staff on site around the clock — are detailed on the page dedicated to the data centre, stating explicitly what belongs to the building and what belongs to D&D.
