The principle
An integrator who hosts their clients’ servers themselves ends up doing two jobs, one of which they did not choose.
On-call rotas, backups, system updates, ageing hardware, the night a host fails: these are real skills and a real commitment. They have little to do with configuring an ERP or developing a business application.
Our proposition is to take exactly that part, and nothing more. You remain your client’s contact for their business; we are the infrastructure behind, at whatever level of visibility you choose.
This is not a convenient sales position: part of our business rests on the trust of providers who have been entrusting clients to us for years. The day we started approaching those clients, that model would end — and we know it.
